A warm welcome awaits you at Casa Coqui (ko-kee), nestled in a quiet hillside of a magnificent gated mountain community, which offers wonderful year round temperatures, beautiful trees and flowers, many species of birds, two rivers, hiking trails, waterfalls, walking paths, and spectacular views. Temperatures vary with wonderful warm days and cool enjoyable nights underneath the stars. Shopping, beaches, restaurants and supermarkets are available 35 minutes away. Altos del Maria has over 42 miles of paved roads, a power grid, aqueduct system, natural trails, lookout points, bridges, and a communication tower. Altos del Maria will use only part of its total area in development, leaving a huge greenery belt to maintain an undeveloped, natural green area that characterizes the community. Don’t miss this wonderful experience. It is more beautiful than you can even imagine.

We provides you with total privacy, peacefulness and a closeness to nature that will please bird watchers and gardeners alike. Casa Coqui is not far from the Rio Maria River Trail where you will find multiple waterfalls, rapids and swimming holes. This property offers beautiful views of the velvety-green mountains, the river valley and the Pacific Ocean. At certain points on a clear day, you can see both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans.

Included: A queen size bed, a big bathroom, and a totally equipped living-dining-kitchen area. Decorated with original lithographs and watercolors, artisan pieces, oriental carpet, and handmade quilts making each guest feel at "home". The unit has a separate entrance and its own parking spot. It has wired and wireless high speed internet, SKY TV, and DVD player. Guests may borrow from our large movie collection.

You are welcome to go to the Activities Center near the security gate and use the Fitness Roo   m, or play ping pong or a game of billiards. Or you can view the valley from the observation point located in the grounds of the Activity Center.

Surrounding Area: Climb Picacho mountain and take in the view of the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. There are several overlook points and bird observations areas in Altos del Maria as well as the Rio Maria River Trail where you will find multiple waterfalls, rapids and swimming holes. Drive 30 minutes to any of our Pacific coasts, or drive to El Valle to the market and buy some wonderful handmade decorations or jewelry. It is a real paradise. Lots of beaches to choose from at only 30 minutes drive. In nearby Coronado, you’ll find every convenience! There are several big upscale grocery stores and a string of fun restaurants and bars but best of all - the magnificent ocean views.

24Hr. Security, all utilities, Internet, Sky TV (free ESPN and movies), fully equipped kitchen and everything else you could need (stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, storage containers). Just bring your food and beverages and enjoy this amazing place. For longer stays a weekly thorough cleaning of the cabin will be provided including a change of bed linens and towels.

Smoking is permitted outside the cabin. We also are unable to accommodate pets. Check with us regarding children.
